2019 was another successful year for CEN and its community as we continue to grow with additional members and services.

The rollout of our new website and introduction of new Managed Firewall Services has been widely accepted by the membership. The focus is service to our members and ensuring we promote and support innovative and state of the art platforms. We will be commemorating 20 years of CEN at this year’s conference and look forward to your help in celebrating this milestone. Please register for the Pre-Conference Workshops taking place on the 7th and the Member Conference taking place on the 8th of May 2020. I hope you had a safe and happy holiday season, and I look forward to 2020.

As summer comes to a close, I’m increasingly excited about CEN’s team, products, service and enormous potential for growth.

Thank you for a successful fiscal year and for all who participated in the 2019 Member Conference this past May. Our community is vibrant, on full display at events like these, and something truly special inside Connecticut. We will be commemorating 20 years of CEN at next year’s conference and look forward to your help in celebrating this milestone.

The CEN team continues to bring value to the membership through its pursuit of excellence in the delivery of its service and product offerings. Our 2019-2024 Strategic Plan is complete, and with your help, will come to fruition over the coming years. Thank you for sharing in that ambition and for your continuous feedback on your objectives, how to improve the network, and provide even more value. We’ve organized the newsletter updates to align our shared goals and to help provide reporting on overall progress. Our membership is the true core of the network, and we look forward to hearing and sharing more!

This newsletter is a big part of our goal to improve member communication. We will be leveraging this format to share our collective success stories and to keep you updated on what is happening inside the organization and across the CEN ecosystem. Sharing these stories and collaborations across the membership makes us stronger, together. We promise to keep the information concise.

We hope everyone has had a chance to enjoy some time off over the summer months to recharge for the beginning of a new academic year and to close out the calendar year strong.
