Member Discounts

CEN provides ‘connections beyond a connection’ to provide additional value through a number member’s only discounts.  The scale of the network, as well as national partnerships, allows CEN to offer aggregated and consortia discounts including:

  • Web Filtering Aggregated License Agreement
    • CEN’s agreement with iBoss brings enterprise class filtering to all of CT.  For K-12 schools and libraries, CEN provides the licensing for CIPA compliant filtering associated with on premise solutions such as CEN’s centralized (and free) service as well as when for when members need to acquire their own hardware for more granular control.   Check out the enhanced features here
    • For solutions outside of k-12 or libraries, or those who require additional security such as malware protect or data loss prevention, we’ve negotiated a price schedule to leverage iBoss cloud based solutions.
    • For more information please contact….
  • The Quilt / Carahsoft National Consortium Contract
    • https://www.carahsoft.com/buy/education-contracts/thequilt
    • Through CEN’s participation in The Quilt, a national coalition of R&E Networks, our members benefit from discounted pricing on many popular hardware and software solutions from authorized resellers you likely already use.  Pricing is extremely competitive and available to all CEN members including public sector and public non-profits.  It’s easy and all you have to do is ask your reseller.  If they don’t know or for some reason have lower pricing, let CEN and Carahsoft know, and we’ll work to get it better for all.
