Wade Arenberg
Wade Arenberg has demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to the CEN community through multiple initiatives over the past two years combined with exceptional performance as ACES Network Manager and as a technical advisor for multiple organizations in greater New Haven.
As a member of the CEN Engagement and Development Advisory Council and Service Management Advisory Council, Wade has been instrumental in building the Cyber Security track of the member conference program, developing the ITIL/ITSM training event, and creating the requirement specification for the Unified Communications RFP. At ACES, Wade is well known as a strong and action-oriented advocate for security and safety. Wade supports over a dozen ACES programs and buildings and has been a valuable on-site resource and IT leader for other districts in need including Derby, Wolcott, and Gateway CC.
Wade’s contributions to the CEN community and to multiple member organizations are numerous and substantial.

Kate Sheehan
Kate Sheehan, Head of Information Technology Services at Stratford Library, has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to CEN’s mission and vision with her positive contributions on the Engagement and Development Advisory Council and through her credible advocacy in the broader library community.
Over the past few years, Kate has stepped up at different times to lead the Education and Community Best Practices member conference program tracks with excellent results. More than just a track lead, Kate has been an active participant in the conferences recruiting speakers, coordinating and moderating Makerspace and FOIA sessions, and presenting on VOIP. The CEN team regularly enlists Kate’s enthusiastic support of CEN for testimonials and advocacy to help other libraries reap the benefits of the network and the community.
Kate’s accomplishments illustrate the power of the CEN / Member partnership.

George Claffey
George Claffey, Chief Information Officer at Central CT State University, has been an invaluable leader and partner in building and developing the CEN community and in promoting the CEN mission and vision.
George’s leadership has made possible numerous community events at CCSU over the past few years. Always ready with a positive, generous approach, George and his team have hosted a long list of successful training events including Data Privacy, Digital Accessibility, Cyber Defense Clinic, and the inaugural Cyber Nutmeg Conference. George has been a strong, consistent presence on multiple CEN leadership cohort groups including CEN’s governing commission, the CET, the community round table of CXOs, and the Connecticut Higher Education Roundtable for Information Security.
George has truly served as CEN’s trusted advisor and partner facilitating collaboration and resource sharing across the human network.
